I am in the process of making some big changes to the Defiant Wellness blog. You may have noticed that I have begun tweaking the look of the page. That will get even more refined in upcoming weeks.
I have also added a new Category of article: Stress Management. After 18 months of striving to be conscientious regarding my health and well-being, it is clear that there is more to being healthy than food and fitness. Therefore I will be expanding features that relate to wellness. Stress has made several attempts upon my life in the past, I suspect that you may have had similar experience.
I also plan to add more Book Reviews to the page. I know some of my friends are voracious readers and others are ambivalent regarding books. I am biased, I believe that it is important that you exercise your mind just like you do your body. Books are your intellectual barbells. Do you even lift!
I also will be more bold with requests of my readers. I write for a purpose. If it were just for me, it would be in a Moleskine book, not on the internet. I write to share my experiences, and I write to encourage readers to expand their boundaries. To that end, I wish to extend my reach. Therefore I will be asking you to share my blogs and Facebook posts with friends who are interested in food, fitness, health and wellness.
I do not profess to have all the answers, I am a work in process. That is why many people read what I write, not because I am a seasoned athlete, but because I am thriving in spite of my past failures. For people who think they cannot do it, I offer proof that they can.
What would you like to see in 2014? If it’s within my skill, maybe I’ll be able to consider incorporating it into the blog. Have a Defiantly Well New Year!
