I will admit that I sometimes lose sight of the progress I have made in my quest for health and fitness. I find myself focused on a short term goal and forget that this is a long game.
Today I had a reminder of how far I have progressed in the past 18 months. I cleaned out my closet of all the clothes that are too large for me.
Polo shirts, dress shirts, sweat shirts, T-shirts, cargo shorts, blue jeans, chinos, sweaters and suits that are a size or two too large for me now.
This stuff had been taking up valuable space, but now it has been bagged up and delivered to a local church drop off. My closet has now lost more weight than I have.
When is come to measuring results, the scale can be a deceiver, but the tale of the tape is true.
