For those of you who know we well, I am an internet junkie. Cut me and I bleed Google-juice. Though CrossFit is relatively new in my reading, food and nutrition have been of interest for a slightly longer period of time.
So what kind of stuff led me to Paleo months before I ever heard of CrossFit? Well the following links will answer the question.
Here are my Top Five Paleo Blogs:
Mark’s Daily Apple – Mark Sisson, author of The Primal Blueprint is an amazing guy, and his website is filled with awesome information on health and wellness. I admire Sisson because he is an incredible role model for me, as he is about 60 years old and he is ripped.
Everyday Paleo – I love Sarah Fragoso. I listen to her podcast every week and I love her Everyday Family Paleo Cookbook. She is an energetic woman who balances her fitness, family and career in a remarkable and inspiring fashion.
Balanced Bites – Another nutrition author and podcaster I read and listen to, is Diane Sanfilippo. She is a Paleo nutrition guru. Her cookbook, Practical Paleo, is perhaps the most comprehensive primer to the world of Paleo.
Robb Wolf – If you have been doing CrossFit or Paleo for any length of time and you never heard of Robb Wolf, then you must live in a cave. Robb is the author of The Paleo Solution and one of the leading speakers in the world of Paleo.
Chris Kresser – Another author and podcaster, Chris Kresser is a licensed acupuncturist and an expert on Paleo nutrition. I think his podcast is uber-geeky-scientific, but his blog is very readable and this guy knows his stuff.
There are obviously many more competent and interesting writers on the web, please share your favorites with your fellow readers by posting them in the comments below.
